Get ready to take your architectural career to the next level. We are currently seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Architect II or III to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation and administration. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with a passion for design, a meticulous eye for detail, and a strong understanding of Sketchup.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse range of architectural projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop innovative design concepts in line with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Utilize Sketchup to create detailed 3D models and design plans.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, and post-construction evaluation.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings and construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established specifications and standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members and contribute to their professional development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in an architectural role, preferably within the engineering industry.
  • Proven expertise in Sketchup or equivalent 3D modeling software.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of architectural projects and design skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects to successful completion within budget and on schedule.
  • Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and building codes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Professional registration as an Architect is preferred.
