RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE AND COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST
- Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist will prepare daily cash deposits and fill out the cash control sheet daily.
- Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist will enter finalized cash receipts and update the accounts receivable ledger by customer.
- Obtain and mail invoice copies for customers, as requested.
- Process daily credit card deposits.
- File check stubs and bank receipts.
- Research and processes customer claims of invoice payment.
- Research and process chargebacks, returns, and bad checks.
- Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist will answer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow up.
- Call and/or mail correspondence to customers as necessary to update accounts.
- Assist with related special projects, as required.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE AND COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST
- 2 years + Accounts Receivable and Collections experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer skills
