We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Real Estate AR/AP Accountant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions within our organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide array of financial and accounting tasks, contributing significantly to the efficiency and profitability of our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial real estate accounting. Must have experience with CAM reconciliation and Commercial Real Estate.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify and address discrepancies and anomalies.
4. Generate accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, enabling strategic decision-making.
5. Implement and maintain rigorous budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to the financial stability and growth of the company.
6. Apply your knowledge of commercial real estate accounting to enhance the financial management of our property portfolio.
7. Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and procedures.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
9. Use your expertise in CAM (Common Area Maintenance) to manage costs and maximize profitability.
10. Act as a key point of contact for financial and accounting inquiries within the organization.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in an AR/AP Accountant role or similar.
3. Proven experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial real estate accounting.
4. Proficiency in CAM and Accounts Receivable Analyst tasks.
5. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
11. CPA or CMA certification will be considered an asset.
