Duties:
- Generates standard proposals in response to inquiries and requests for bids.
- In partnership with Sales personnel, meets with customers as required to discuss proposals and to provide technical training, support and expertise.
- Analyzes customer needs to determine which system or unit best suits their requirements.
- Attend trade shows.
- Prepares and conducts sales seminars and training schools.
- Seeks out new applications for existing products and makes recommendations on the nature and scope of present and future product lines.
Requirements: - Must be authorized to work within the U.S.
- BS from accredited institution (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) or similar industrial discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- 3 years of mechanical application engineering experience in technical goods and services.
- 3 years of hands-on related experience in manufacturing machinery and/or vibration analysis preferred.
- Travel up to 20% of the time, including some international travel.
- Strong PC skills: must be able to install software associated with vibration analysis programs.
- Must be mechanically and electrically inclined with knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, machine components and drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to respond promptly and skillfully to customer inquiries.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze and reason through on technical issues.
