Our client is looking to hire an Application Support Engineer (ASE) who has experience working in the legal industry. Reporting to the senior software engineering team, you will collaborate with colleagues, provide end-user support and perform/ensure successful code migrations as part of the team who monitors and maintains the efficiency of software applications. You will also be required to provide IT support to our clients. To ensure success as an application support engineer, you should possess extensive experience providing application support in a fast-paced environment. Top-Notch application support engineers distinguish themselves by being proactive in providing application support.

This is a long-term consulting assignment with the intent to convert to FTE. The initial contract is 12 months. The preferred work location is Tampa, FL (being onsite 3 days/week).

Some of the requirements include:

  • 3+ years' experience as an application support engineer in the legal industry and experience with the following software packages:
    • iManage (and DocAuto) / NetDocuments or equivalent Document Management Systems
    • Information Rights Management (IRM )
    • Intapp
      • Intapp Open (Intake/Conflicts)
      • Intapp Ethical Walls
      • Intapp Integration Builder
    • Aderant Handshake software
    • SQL
    • Litera (Forte/Compare/Metadact/Milan)
    • Forms WorkFlow
    • Carpe Diem Time Keeping System
    • AccuRoute
    • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Office 365 & Teams
    • PS Ship
    • Prophix
  • Knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages, such as Powershell, Visual Basic, C , C , SQL, API, Application Packaging, and/or other scripting languages.
  • Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
  • Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients.
  • Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
  • Ability to keep up with innovation in application design.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar.
