Defibtech is seeking an Application Software Engineer responsible for supporting Defibtech operations and business growth through the definition, development, and implementation of various critical Company systems including our Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Quality Management System (QMS) and Content Management System (CMS). This position is based locally, hybrid remotely out of our Branford, CT manufacturing site, commutable to our Branford and Guilford sites when needed to be hands with systems and end users.

Core Responsibilities:
Develop, support, and maintain internal and cloud applications such as ERP, MES, CRM, ITSM, QMS and CMS.
Develop and maintain data integration, transformation, and reporting.
Support users, troubleshoot issues to resolution in the shortest time frame possible.
Design solutions including custom forms, dashboards, and reports.
Create and maintain system and user documentation.
Design, debug, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing test software used in production of medical devices by developing code, creating documentation, overseeing verification and deployment.
Support company MES (Manufacturing Execution Software) applications, database, and documentation.
Design, debug, troubleshoot and maintain ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) applications by creating customizations, personalization, queries, reports, dashboards, documentation, test plans and deployment step-by-step guides.
Support MES and ERP users, troubleshoots issues to resolution in the shortest time frame possible.
Analyze and develop technical requirements for testability and interoperability of products relative to a manufacturing and operational environment.
Maintain strong interpersonal communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrate Defibtech values on the job and promote and participate in continuous improvement.
Actively support compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems Regulations, safety regulations and applicable statutes).
Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with at least three years of related experience working with business enterprise systems or the equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience with Salesforce CRM is required.
Experience managing data using Relational Database Management Systems is required.
Experience using programming languages to design applications is required.
Experience designing complex SQL queries for MS SQL Server is required.
Experience designing reports using MS SSRS is required.
Experience working with data integration tools like JitterBit, Zappier, Workato etc. is a plus.
Hands-on experience working with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
Experience programming using VB.NET, C .NET, T-SQL or Python is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Competence in design and development of relational databases, queries, and reports.
Demonstrated documentation skills (requirements, design specifications, test protocols, and work instructions).
Ability to work after-hours or additional hours when required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Work environment is office-based. Hybrid capable (office and commutable remote).
Travel as needed between company sites within Connecticut.
Sedentary work with frequent sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing and short durations of walking throughout location(s)and lifting up to 10lbs.
