Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to make an immediate impact on our IT department.
Recent acquisitions have created a need for integrating additional resources into our environment. The primary tool that will be used is Okta, and our biggest integration challenge is with our HRIS system. If you have experience with Okta administration, IAM, and administrative permissions, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of Okta applications, including implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.
- Design and implement Okta solutions tailored to meet the organization's identity and access management requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Okta with various business applications and systems.
- Develop and maintain Okta policies, rules, and workflows to enforce security and compliance standards.
- Monitor and optimize Okta performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Okta capabilities, providing guidance and best practices to stakeholders.
- Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to support Okta adoption and usage.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Okta technology to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Application Manager or similar role with a focus on Okta identity and access management.
- Strong understanding of Okta functionalities, including SSO, MFA, provisioning, and API integration.
- Experience with cloud-based applications and services, particularly those integrated with Okta.
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices related to identity and access management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to Okta configurations.
- Strong project management and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Okta certification (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator) preferred.
