Pay Range: $75 - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Application Architect: Someone with experience in understanding how architecture works with various technologies such as databases, single-page applications, middleware, messaging tools, etc.
- Core General Architect: A professional who comprehensively understands overall architecture principles, regardless of cloud utilization. They should be adept at database patterns, middle tier technologies like microservices and REST APIs, messaging protocols like Kafka and MQ, as well as various UI frameworks like jQuery, Angular, React, etc.
- Modernization Expertise: The ideal candidate should have a background in modernizing existing systems, including migrating from legacy frameworks to newer ones, updating databases, and transitioning from monolithic architectures to more modern, distributed ones. This includes experience with.NET or Java, and familiarity with modernization frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Container Experience: While not a hard requirement, experience with containers is seen as a plus, though not necessary given the presence of a dedicated container expert.
- Years of Experience: While there's no specific requirement mentioned, candidates with more years of architecture experience are preferred. However, it's crucial that they have a balance of both architecture and hands-on development experience.
