Integra is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations for an apartment community. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating maintenance tasks, and ensuring the timely completion of work orders.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling and assigning work orders to the maintenance team.

Repair and Maintenance: Perform skilled maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality of equipment and systems.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services as needed.

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to minimize risks and maintain a safe environment.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient operations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment servicing for documentation and reporting purposes.

Resident Communication: Provide clear communication with residents regarding maintenance issues, scheduled repairs, and service updates.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with 2 years or more in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance with maintenance standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents and team members.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn property management software.

Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed to address maintenance emergencies.

Must have own basic hand tools to perform duties.
