About the role The Accounts Payable Supervisor is a core part of our Accounting team and is responsible for the daily operations of our accounts payable department. This includes invoice processing, supervising staff, managing processes and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments. This is a hands-on role that will assist with streamlining processes and ensures that the department meets all financial deadlines along with great customer service to internal stakeholders. This role is onsite in Fremont, 5 days a week Supervisory Responsibilities Interview prospective employees and choose the best applicant based on skills, knowledge, and experience Train and oversee employees involved in billing functions Direct assigned tasks and provide assistance as needed Assist with performance evaluations Work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager Duties/Responsibilities Oversee reports regarding cash flow; ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner Develop guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records Review expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment Assist in payments before Controller/AP Manager approval is obtained by reviewing payment batches Ensure proper recordkeeping of purchases for use tax preparation and periodic audits Ensure the proper documentation is collected during vendor onboarding process Timely preparation and submission of 1099s Assist with vendor statement reviews, AP Aging and reconciliations Responsible for AP related month-end close tasks Other AP related projects and system improvement initiatives Qualifications Process driven, with track record of continuous improvement Experience managing teams and delivering KPIs efficiently Proficient in accounting software such as SAP, Concur, Google Sheets Good organizational skills and attention to detail Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions Strong numerical aptitude, communication and problem-solving skills 3+ years of Accounts Payable, ideally with inventory, and people management experience Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration Benefits Comprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision. Points credits Compensation Range The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $90,000 This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations.
