About the Company and Opportunity: AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator
- Our client is a well-established manufacturing/distribution company in Portland who is looking to add an AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator to their team
- The role reports to the Controller of the company
- This opportunity will be involved in all aspects of the AP process

- Will support the controller with daily and weekly reporting
- Handles other periodic projects as assigned

Overview of the role: AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage payroll coordination, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Run hourly payroll for upwards of 50-60 employees
- Handle all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
- Processing invoices for lower volume vendors, matching purchase orders, and handling check runs
- Collaborate with vendors, internal team members, and handle inquiries
- May provide assistance with data entry
Preferred Qualifications: AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and payroll principles
- Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll use
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
