About the Company and Opportunity: AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator

  • Our client is a well-established manufacturing/distribution company in Portland who is looking to add an AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator to their team
  • The role reports to the Controller of the company
  • This opportunity will be involved in all aspects of the AP process

Overview of the role: AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Manage payroll coordination, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Run hourly payroll for upwards of 50-60 employees
  • Handle all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
  • Processing invoices for lower volume vendors, matching purchase orders, and handling check runs
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal team members, and handle inquiries
  • May provide assistance with data entry

Preferred Qualifications: AP Specialist/Payroll Coordinator

  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and payroll principles
  • Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll use
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
