As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process. This includes processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, responding to vendor inquiries, and assisting with month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors

- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies

- Maintain accurate and organized records of all AP transactions

- Communicate with vendors to resolve any payment issues or inquiries

- Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations

- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy

- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as GAAP standards

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with month-end close processes is a plus
