Our Client, based in Westport, is known for providing exceptional services and up-scale experiences to their clients and residents. They have grown tremendously over the last few years, and CFS has successfully placed several candidates at varying levels of Accounting and Finance. They are looking to bring on an AP Manager ASAP.
Responsibilities of the AP Manager:
- Oversee AP department activity - three AP Specialists
- Also be involved in processing invoices daily
- Weekly check runs
- Help with implementation of PO system (which integrates into Yardi)
- Obtain info from vendors and enter into system
- Month-end close as it relates to AP
- Implement efficiencies/process improvement in AP
A Successful AP Manager will have this experience:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Yardi experience is a huge plus, but not required for the role, as long as you have strong ERP and other accounting system experience
- Ideally, multi-entity or multi-location accounting/AP experience
- Must have prior team lead or supervisory experience and be both hands-on and strategic
