AP Associate
Responsibilities:
- AP Associate will be the sole person doing AP - Processing on average 20-30 payments/week, average (approx. 1000/year). Will do full cycle AP from coding the invoices to uploading for payment in bank system.
- AP Associate will send out reports to the departments on a monthly basis (at end of a month) about respective department expenditures.
- AP Associate will prepare grant reports - our client will train on this process.
- AP Associate will assist with AMEX reconciliations
- AP Associate will complete ad hoc tasks & projects, as requested
Requirements:
- Previous AP experience required for AP Associate role (minimum of 6 months+)
- Degree is a plus but NOT required for AP Associate role - should have some coursework in accounting and know debits & credits
- Excel (pivot tables)
- Previous Great Plains experience is a plus but NOT required
- Previous nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but NOT required
Personality Fit:
- Customer service mentality - will be providing updates that payments have been processed
- Organized (will make 30-35 payments/week, all could come on the same day or sporadically)
- Ability to meet deadlines
