Accounting Specialist (Accounts Payable/Receivable)

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist Position:
- Process invoices for Accounts Payable - scanning, data entry, and filing
- Complete 3-way match and code invoices in the General Ledger
- Billing of customers, follow up on overdue payments
- Posting payments to the General Ledger
- Balancing daily batches and reports; distributing reports
- Research and resolve discrepancies
Preferred Qualifications and Experience for the Accounting Specialist:
- Associate's degree in accounting or finance OR equivalent accounting experience PLUS
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Collections
- Prior experience with a major ERP
- Prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
