We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced AP/AR Specialist to join our thriving Real Estate Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where new ideas are encouraged and collaboration is key. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all activities related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable's data.
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits, and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues.
  • Develop and implement improvements to AP/AR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including audits, tax filings, and preparation of financial reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, data analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
  • Ability to accurately process numerical data.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
