Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AP/AR Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing both the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of multi-state sales tax processes and company business license filings. This is a permanent position and an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and growing company.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
2. Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
3. Handle multi-state sales tax processes and company business license filings.
4. Process expense reports and ensure all expenses are properly approved and recorded.
5. Oversee the billing process, ensuring that all invoices are issued timely and accurately.
6. Manage collections, following up on outstanding invoices and resolving any discrepancies.
7. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
8. Assist with financial audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
9. Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures.
10. Provide support to other departments regarding financial inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
3. Proven experience with monthly bank reconciliations, multi-state sales tax processes, and company business license filings.
4. Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and tax filings.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
7. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. CPA certification is a plus.
