AP Accountant - Hybrid in Gaithersburg.
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a highly regarded organization who is dedicated to the education community.
- Due to growth, they are seeking to add a AP Accountant to help with the additional workload.
- The position is temporary for the next 5 months.
- Pay: $28-31/hr depending on experience.
- Position is hybrid (2 days in, 3 days remote)
Overview of the AP Accountant role:
- This AP Accountant reports directly to the Controller.
- Responsible for reviewing invoices, data entry, filling, issuing checks, and assisting with month-end close activities.
Preferred Qualifications for the AP Accountant:
- 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience
- NetSuite software is a plus, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel skills are a plus
- Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail.
- Flexible and eager to learn.
- High degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality, reliable, responsible, and vigilant.
