IT PMO Operations Analyst
Location Remote
Contract Duration June 2024 December 31, 2024 with strong possibility of extension and possible conversion to FTE in the future
This position is for a global healthcare organization that is recognized as an exception employer within their industry. This IT PMO Analyst will support the Project Manage Office through analytics, data management, reporting, executive communications and driving operating processes throughout the project development lifecycle. Responsibilities will include the following:
Will be supporting 2-12 Project Managers.
Research, collect and evaluate data necessary to meet project reporting and evaluation requirements including scope, schedule, and budget
Assist with the preparation of a variety of reports covering budget status, forecast reports and other management requirements
Prepare engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations and communications
Facilitate meetings with teams across the IT department, including executive level participants
Perform in depth analysis of focus areas and provides recommendations to management
Partner with Project Managers and Business Relationship Managers
Work well in a team environment, sharing knowledge and lessons learned
Required Skills and Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis
2-4 years of experience serving in a project support or analytical role is preferred
General understanding of IT systems is preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is preferred
Needs to be highly skilled in working with MS Excel as there will be a lot of report creation work involved with this position
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Experience supporting project financials and budgets is a must.
Working knowledge of MS Access and SharePoint is preferred
Working knowledge of ServiceNow and Tableau is preferred
Beginning proficiency in MS Project is preferred
Intermediate skills in creating and maintaining process flow documents is preferred
Desired Skills and Expertise:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with Agile and Waterfall is preferred
Project management professional accreditation preferred (PMP)
Experience using PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tool
Healthcare industry experience
