Job Title: Engineer - Solid Surfaces Production Introduction: As a dedicated Engineer in the Solid Surfaces Production Team, your role is integral to the manufacturing of acrylic-based artificial marble at our company. This innovative product, created through the fusion of MMA (Methyl methacrylate) and aluminum hydroxide, offers diverse colors and patterns, making it suitable for applications ranging from kitchen countertops to architectural elements. The production process involves polymerization, where a slurry of mixed MMA and curing agent is polymerized to produce semi-finished products, followed by post-processing to achieve the final product. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Process Optimization: Analyze and manage data from production process operations to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing. Implement improvements for enhanced production efficiency and product quality. 2. Quality Management: Oversee the quality control of manufactured solid surfaces, ensuring adherence to established standards. Conduct evaluations of application properties for newly developed products and manage pre/post-production quality. 3. Production and Equipment Investment Planning: Develop and execute plans for production schedules and equipment investments. Optimize raw materials and equipment to enhance both product quality and productivity. 4. New Factory Expansion Projects and Technology Application: Drive projects related to the expansion of factory facilities. Apply new technologies to improve production processes and product quality. 5. Workplace Safety and Environmental Management: Ensure operational safety and environmental compliance in the production environment. Manage organizational safety and environmental standards. 6. Team and Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to factory expansion projects. Lead and support the team in achieving common goals. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Material Science/Engineering, or related field. Relevant coursework in Organic Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Chemical Process Principles, Unit Operations, Reaction Engineering, Process Control, Process Design, Material Mechanics, Polymer Properties, etc. Knowledge and skills in chemical reactions, chemical engineering processes, and production process design. Specialized knowledge in injection molding, extrusion, processing, and mold-related processes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to set and achieve high goals. Effective communication skills for collaboration within diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications in the field (Chemical Engineer, Industrial Safety Engineer, etc.). Required Competencies: The production of solid surfaces involves chemical reactions using various materials and managing diverse equipment. Therefore, a background in chemical engineering or polymer engineering is highly beneficial. Knowledge of organic chemistry, fluid dynamics, process control, and materials mechanics is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are essential for collaborating with operators and teams from different departments, such as sales, development, and quality assurance.
