Client Summary:

Our client is New Jersey's last remaining independent, Catholic health system, comprising a comprehensive 361-bed acute care medical center, a cancer center, medical fitness center, residential hospice, nursing school, and physician network. The system has a national reputation for providing culturally sensitive care to a diverse population, drawing patients from across the New York City region to its specialty centers and renowned doctors.

Summary of Need:

Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.

Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.

Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.

Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.

Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.

Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.

Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.

Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.

Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

No weekends/call/holidays/evenings

1 year minimum experience

Typically 20 Case Loads Per day

No Floating Required

Requirements:

NJ License (if pending, then at least the License for verification prior to start)

Technologist's registration: ARRT (R) (M)- with verification of expiration date and the date the M was obtained

Document of 40 hours initial training

Document of 8 hours Digital Mammo training

Document of 8 hours 3d/Tomo Mammo training

Document of at least 200 mammogram exams performed in the last 24 months

Document of 15 CME earned within the last 36 months

BLS

Hologic experience is a plus
