Position Summary and Job Responsibilities BGI is seeking full-time B-52 aircrew with current or recent experience and qualifications as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to directly support development of training simulators in the Tampa, FL area. Positions are available immediately. BGI requires highly skilled SMEs to provide end-to-end operational support regarding the design, test, and delivery of high-fidelity simulation systems. Personnel will work hand-in-hand with engineers and end-users to determine the most effective and efficient training solutions.
This is a full-time, primarily on-site position. Job Responsibilities

• Support B-52 flight simulator design by providing operational insight/input into actual B-52 performance and capabilities to development engineers
• Provide subject matter expertise on aircraft systems, avionics, weapons and overall operational capabilities

• Derive training system requirements from technical documentation

• Evaluate aircraft system modifications for impact to the training system

• Provide input and/or generate Testing Procedures that will be utilized to verify that simulators meet required training tasks
• Perform Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Validation & Verification (V&V) on high-fidelity state-of-the-art flight simulators, computer generated threat systems, and visual simulation components
• Document discrepancies and functional/operational deficiencies for disposition by the program teams
• Provide inputs regarding current and future training solutions based on end-user needs and emerging technology
• Attend customer meetings to help translate end-user needs to training system requirements

• Occasional travel (less than 5%) for system testing Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills) Required

• B-52 Instructor WSO (preferred) or pilot

• Qualified in B-52 within last 5 years

• CONECT experience

• Aircraft Systems, Communications, Weapons, Sensors, and Defensive Systems understanding

• Mission Planning and debrief experience with JMPS and NGTS

• Tactics and employment proficiency

• Ability to obtain and hold a DoD security clearance Preferred

• Qualified in the B-52 within last 3 years

• 2,000 or more flight hours in B-52

• 500 or more instructor hours in B-52

• Qualified in current B-52 sustainment block

• Deployed/contingency operations within last 5 years

• Experience in B-52 Operational Test & Evaluation or graduate of USAF Test Pilot School

• Weapons School graduate
