STS Line Maintenance is hiring an Aircraft Line Maintenance Regional Director in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management or Engineering
  • Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Experience in Part 121 Line Maintenance operations
  • Demonstrate superior attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel at a moments notice.
  • Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Possess excellent time management skills
  • Be able to work in a multi-task, fast paced environment
  • Be a self-starter and maintain focus on prioritized tasks


Nature of Work:

  • The Regional Director is responsible to the SVP & GM of Line Maintenance for the overall day-to-day operation of the stations assigned, provide leadership to assigned station managers, ensure positive financial results, and attend to special projects when required.
  • This position is remote but permanent residency must be within the assigned region.
  • 25% - 35% travel is required.

Classification:

  • Exempt Salaried Full Time Regular: All other salaried employees (except non-exempt salaried and officers/executives) not subject to the overtime pay provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.


Responsibilities:

  • The Regional Director is responsible to the SVP & GM of Line Maintenance for the overall day-to-day operation of their assigned region. Includes but not limited to work order and payroll accuracy, training compliance, customer satisfaction, financial results and work environment.
  • The planning, direction, and coordination of all maintenance activities at their assigned Line Stations.
  • Responsible for inspiring team members to perform their best work and creating an environment where they can be successful and feel appreciated.
  • Provide leadership to assigned Station Managers and ensure company policies & procedures are being followed and regulatory regulations are in full compliance.
  • Guide team members in creating a safe work environment. Provide tools and resources to ensure safety is paramount.
  • Ensure customer expectations are always achieved and occasionally exceeded.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new line stations and/or changes in the scope of current maintenance of established line stations.
  • Justify and approve labor requirements and work schedules at assigned stations ensuring labor meets demands.
  • Assist the Quality Department in analyzing the results of internal and external audits and identifying Line Station deficiencies for root cause, corrective actions, and potential candidates for
  • Continuous Process Improvement actions.
  • Provide oversight of line station programs such as Quality, Training, and Safety and the effectiveness of each of these programs to meet or exceed STS and customer requirements at assigned line stations.
  • Analysis of weekly and monthly financial reports to ensure STS maintains acceptable levels of revenue based on workload, schedules and air carrier contract agreements meeting goals outlined by the VP/GM. Regional Director is accountable for their region s financial success.
