Aircraft Electrician with Security Clearance

Duties You will perform work involved in routine disassembly, repair, modification, assembly, testing, and installation of aircraft electrical systems, equipment, and accessories used on fixed and rotary wing aircraft. You will correct minor discrepancies by removal, repair, or replacement of defective circuits, wires, connectors, control units, and other parts of aircraft electrical systems. You will perform limited functional checks on existing and newly installed aircraft electrical systems, equipment, and cables to check continuity, resistance, amperage, and insulation breakdown with specialized tooling and equipment. You will use common hand and power tools and test equipment to facilitate rework operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. Position is subject to various noise levels. Hearing protection must be worn at all times during working hours in production areas and double protection must be worn for noise levels exceeding 96 DBA.
