We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AIA Billing Specialist who will be responsible for managing the company's billing operations. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by processing invoices, managing cash receipts, and conducting account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AIA billing, the ability to set up new lenders, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.
2. Month-end closing of the billing group information.
3. Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
4. Special program/billing planning and implementation.
5. Personnel development; staff meetings.
6. Staffing discussions and planning/interviews; employee hiring and retention.
7. Direct and coordinate all billing activities including cash receipts and account reconciliation.
8. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
9. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
10. Ensure timely and accurate billing of services to clients.
11. Set up new lenders in the system and maintain lender information.
12. Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and errors.
13. Assist with audits and tax preparation.
14. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a billing specialist.
3. Adherence to laws and best practices regarding dealing with customers and data.
4. Comfortable dealing with numbers and processing financial information.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with relevant software (e.g. Quickbooks) will be appreciated.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
8. Knowledge of AIA billing and experience setting up new lenders.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
10. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
11. Excellent analytical skills and a sound understanding of accounting principles.
12. Professionalism and organization skills.
