Position Summary This position analyzes, develops, manages, documents, and evaluates the on-going performance of WisDOT's state funded Agricultural Road Improvement Program (ARIP). In the 2023-25 Biennium, ARIP provides $150 million in state funds throughout Wisconsin. The incumbent will assist section, bureau and division leadership in the design, development, and administration of this new state funded local grant program. This position will also help to provide backup support for the state funded Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) and the federally funded Surface Transportation Program (STP) - Local program component when needed. The position works closely with local governments throughout Wisconsin. The incumbent develops implements and evaluates program and project documents, and is accountable to analyze issues; implement, record, and maintain program policy; and make project decisions and interpretations. The incumbent also develops training modules and performs training and stakeholder outreach throughout Wisconsin to both locals and WisDOT staff, and provides on-going, project level technical assistance. Salary Information This position is in schedule-range (07-03) with an annual salary of $62,400-$90,397, plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan. Job Details WisDOT does not sponsor work visas.
