Job Details

Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-delivery inspections on lifts to ensure they meet customer requirements.
Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and sensor issues.
Prepare lifts before and after rental, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
Document repair findings and steps taken to resolve issues.
Utilize laptop computers and mobile phones to manage work orders and track customer issues.
Safely transport equipment within the shop and at customer sites.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency customer service (once qualified).
Occasionally perform local pickup or delivery of machines in need of service.
Perform additional in-shop duties as required.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems (preferred).
Field mechanic experience highly desired.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows-based computers for machine diagnostics.
Ability to use Android or iOS smartphones for field dispatch and communication.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 70+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling.
Willingness to travel locally and occasionally within the United States on short notice (once qualified).
Desire to learn and develop customer service skills and technical expertise in aerial lift equipment.
Desired Qualifications:

OSHA 10 card.
DOT health card.
Military maintenance training (a plus).
Certified fork truck operator (Class IV, V).
Experience with sensor signaling protocols such as CANBUS.
Advanced technical studies in automotive, aircraft maintenance, or heavy equipment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and office tools.
