Adventure Club Lead Caregiver

Sign on Bonus: $500 after 60 days probation. Retention Bonus: $900 every quarter (trimester) through the Childcare Stabilization Grant for those working 10 or more hours per week. $450 every quarter (trimester) for those working less than 10 hours per week. Employees would be eligible to receive up to 4 payments for the year. POSITION: Adventure Club Lead Caregiver Position Monday through Friday 6:30 - 8:40 am and 3:30 - 6:00 pm DESCRIPTION: The lead caregiver will be directly responsible to the Adventure Club Coordinator. The lead caregiver will supervise the children and participate in site activities, plan and coordinate activities that fit the needs and interests of children. All other duties assigned by the Adventure Club Coordinator. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Lead Caregiver - Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit at an accredited college or university and shall have completed not less than 12 semester hours in Child Development, Child Psychology, or Early Childhood Education. Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read and interpret written directions and have the ability and knowledge to assist students. Must have good work record, including excellent attendance and punctuality, dependable, flexible, and cooperative, professional appearance and positive attitude Must be able to relate well with children
