Job Summary The Program Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group based therapy services to adolescents ages 12-18. The therapist will be responsible for maintaining an outpatient caseload and supporting IOP group sessions as needed. The clinician is held accountable for all related clinical, administrative, and Quality and Compliance responsibilities. Essential Responsibilities and Metrics + Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in clients by providing group therapy based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) interventions in a safe and therapeutic milieu; Facilitating individual and/or family therapy sessions to a small caseload of outpatient clients and providing case management services as needed. + If qualified, will conduct expressive therapy groups at least twice a week in IOP. + Collaborating with outpatient therapists and school contacts via consultation to provide updates on programming and to coordinate discharge planning to support IOP programming. + Assessing clients on a daily basis for safety, ADL's, and mental status to communicate with relevant clinical staff about client's presentation. + Organizing and maintaining clinical group materials to track the frequency of skills taught in program to ensure full breadth of CBT/DBT skills are provided + Creates IMCANS (IATP) Assessment (Completes IATP within 30 days of initial meeting with client, modifies and reviews as needed, updates and records IATP in CIS as needed and ensures updates are completed prior to six months due date) + Completing clinical documentation on a daily basis if not within 48 hours at the latest in CIS. + Participating in weekly individual supervision if not fully licensed with the option to get peer support in group supervision. + Provides high-quality services and maintains direct service hours per month as determined by program guidelines. Qualifications + Have two years post master's experience (strongly preferred) + Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) (required) + Hold the following licenses or certifications: LPC, or in the process of obtaining LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, (preferred) + Have prior experience working with adolescents in a partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting (required) + Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred + Previous expressive therapy experience (art therapy, dance movement therapy) preferred IND2
