Overview We are seeking a part-time administrative/research assistant to provide support for Dr. Stacey Sinclair. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Professor with various administrative and research tasks, allowing her to focus on other professional responsibilities. The anticipated start date is May 2024 (start date is negotiable). Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Responsibilities Handle email correspondence on behalf of the Professor Maintain and organize the Professor's calendar, including meetings and appointments Conduct literature reviews for various research projects and assignments Edit and review academic work Perform other administrative duties as needed Qualifications Essential Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Previous experience as an administrative assistant or similar role, preferably supporting an academic professional Proficiency with programs such as Acrobat, Canva, and Calendly Be advised that you will be contacted only if there is further interest in your application.
