Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry

Description Springfield College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Biology/Chemistry Department for the Fall 2024 semester. Ideal candidates would be able to teach Biochemistry (CHEM 331, MWF 11:00 - 11:50 AM) and/or sections of an existing General Chemistry Laboratory course (CHEM 123, various times). Experience teaching Biochemistry at the College level is preferred. There is potential for a renewed appointment in future semesters to teach chemistry laboratory sections. All of these courses will meet face-to-face on the Springfield, MA campus. Qualifications Candidates must possess at minimum a Master's Degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Experience teaching Biochemistry at the college level is preferred. Graduate students who have completed two years of a scientific PhD program will also be considered.
