Overview Dedicated to serving those who defend the US and warfighters, Nisga'a MOSTT offers Military Operations support and Specialized Tactical Training (MOSTT). Nisga'a MOSTT's services include aviation and military training, cybersecurity, intelligence gathering and analysis, and simulation and exercise support, as well as aviation flight logistics support and unmanned aerial vehicle support. Summary: We are seeking an Adjunct Instructor-Cross-Cultural Negotiations to support the mission of the USAF Culture and Language Center (AFCLC) as the AF focal point for creating and executing programs that sustain the career-long development of linguistically, regionally, and culturally competent Airmen to meet the Service's global mission. In addition to providing subject matter expertise and support for Air Force Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) governance, the AFCLC designs, develops, and delivers: 1) LREC familiarization education to AU officer, enlisted, and accessions programs; and 2) pre-deployment training and training products; and 3) LREC training, education and sustainment for the GPF and other DoD and USG partners. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Support curriculum execution through provision of subject matter expertise with the necessary credentials and academic certifications pertaining to Cross-Cultural Negotiations. Serve as adjunct faculty and provide assessment and mentoring of students. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, such as case studies, role-playing exercises, simulations, and multimedia presentations, to enhance learning and engagement. Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs and learning styles of participants from different cultural backgrounds. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to participants to help them improve their negotiation skills and cultural awareness Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cultural differences and their impact on negotiation styles, communication patterns, and decision-making processes. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English. Minimum Qualifications: Masters or PhD in the appropriate and specific experience area (e.g. LRCN/SLC/WMD) and/or acknowledged expertise in the appropriate experience area Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) either as a practitioner or as a trainer/instructor. Must be certified in Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint or perform to that level of proficiency. Must possess an active SECRET security clearance. Some travel may be required.
