Location: Batavia, NY Category: Adjunct Posted On: Thu Apr 4 2024 Job Description: Genesee Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach the following course for the Fall 2024 semester. HUS 124 - Gerontology: This course examines contemporary issues impacting older adults such as special needs, changing roles experienced with aging, community resources, legislation and programs designed to meet these multifaceted needs. This position will be required to provide Asynchronous Instruction - (Online coursework with no scheduled class times). The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning, adaptability, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology. Job Requirements: Master's Degree in the subject area is required (i.e. Human Services, Human Service Administration, Social Work, etc.) 18 Graduate credits in the discipline required Successful teaching experience in a community college is preferred.
