Title: Adjunct Faculty - Engineering Technology Agency: Laurel Ridge Community College Location: Frederick - 069 FLSA: Exempt Hiring Range: Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience Full Time or Part Time: Part Time Additional Detail Job Description: Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for an Engineering Technology adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed. Please note: applicants must reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or DC. Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty listings are on a continuous, open until filled basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis. Compensation and Benefits: Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors in the field or Associates in the field plus 2 years work experience in the field. The ability to use instructional technology is required.
