Overview Competitive wage based on experience and job location. Services are grounded in the 12-Steps and a number of evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are designed to meet the unique needs of the patient who are entrusted in our care. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under supervision, assists in all facets of patient care including admission process, orientation, assessment, treatment planning and discharge. Conduct assessments on each assigned patient. Develop measurable treatment plans based on assessment. Conduct or assist in group therapy sessions. Conduct individual counseling sessions with patient and significant others, as needed. Design, develop and implement educational sessions. Participate in updating and summarizing treatment plans at clinical staffing. Make appropriate entries in the clinical records to document ongoing progress of patients. Conduct appropriate referral and plans for discharge and aftercare. Conduct orientation with assigned patients and document in the appropriate area of the patient record. Qualifications EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Associates Degree Addiction Counselor Trainee (minimum) through the SD BAPP. Keystone provides a comprehensive package of benefits for our Counseling position.
