A week in the life of an Acquisition Logistician: Assist Government Project Managers, and Defense Contracts Management Agency in operating and managing a tracking system for items procured, maintained, shipped, and consumed on a major Navy program Conduct periodic physical inventories of government owned material used in support of the Warfighter Assist with audits of associate contractor's asset and property tracking systems Assist in managing Supply metrics, including Minimum Stock Levels, Spares allocations and Spares forecasting Assist others in documenting asset and property actions using standard DoD forms Assist in documenting disposal of Government owned assets and property Participate in periodic meetings and teleconferences with suppliers, Government, and Navy personnel Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
