Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Invoice Collection: Collect open invoices and follow up on any outstanding accounts, including deductions related to various account responsibilities such as advertising, price protection, price errors, return merchandise, and shortages.
- Account Reconciliations: Investigate deductions by customers, providing appropriate documentation and credit requests to support credit issuance for valid deductions, as directed by Credit Department Management.
- Medium-sized Retailers Management: Manage a variety of medium-sized and independent retailers' accounts through the collection reconciliation process.
Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, demonstrating proficiency in invoice collection and reconciliation.
- Experience with Great Plains is advantageous.
- Intermediate Excel skills to effectively manage data and analysis.
