Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounts receivable function.
2. Utilizing QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel to track payments and outstanding accounts receivable balances accurately.
3. Implementing effective collection strategies to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
4. Reviewing client medical bills meticulously to identify any discrepancies or errors.
5. Negotiating with medical providers to resolve billing issues and secure the best possible terms for our clients.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in our database.
7. Collaborating with other members of our finance team to ensure a seamless financial operation.
8. Regularly reporting to management on the status of accounts receivable, collections, and any potential issues.
9. Continuously improving our accounts receivable processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a law firm.
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
4. Proven experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully resolving billing issues.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
