Currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join a finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, excellent communication skills, and and a passion for precision and efficiency. This role offers the chance to contribute directly to organizational success by managing customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and optimizing the receivables processes. This is an on-site role with an annual salary starting at $45,000.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Account Management: Handle invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Payment Collection: Keep a close eye on accounts receivable aging, promptly following up on overdue payments to maintain timely collections.

Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues efficiently, maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Effective Communication: Engage with customers to address inquiries, resolve disputes, and arrange payment plans professionally and courteously.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to refine receivables processes, enhancing cash flow management and operational efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, identifying trends and potential risks to inform strategic decision-making.

Month-end and Year-end Support: Assist with the close processes related to accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential.
