Overview of the Role:
- Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm. This person will work 100% in the office in Middle River, MD
- Company offers free parking to its employees
- Potential for remote flexibility offered after training
- Reports directly to the Finance Manager
Job Duties:
- Following up on past due payments and overall collections clean up
- Communicating with vendors via phone and email regarding new payment information
- Assist with building out new ERP system integration to help automate collections efforts
- Assist with bank account merger
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications of the AR Specialist:
- Degree in related field a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of accounting terminology and general accounting experience required
- Strong computer skills/tech savvy
- Good customer communication skills
- Proficient Excel skills
- Working with thousands of customers in Excel
- Merge data, sorting, pivot tables
- Must be able to pass a background check
