Empowering Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance who is based in the United Kingdom.

As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining the credit control process including the sales ledger, ensuring timely payments from customers and minimizing bad debt.

Your role will involve proactively contacting customers to collect outstanding payments, resolving billing and payment issues, and maintaining accurate records of customer accounts. You will work closely with the sales teams and customer service representatives to ensure a smooth and efficient credit control process.

You'll also be involved in HR administration such as healthcare insurance and liaising with our payroll provider.

This role will require you to work from our Clearwater offices at least twice each week.

This will be an exciting and challenging role for someone who has the experience and knowledge to help drive improvements and future development of the Accounts team.

Requirements

Proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable
As your team is abroad, you must be self motivated and able to proactively manage your workload
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work systematically and proactively
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
Working experience on CRM (our software is Oracle NetSuite)
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

$45,000 to $50,000 per year (dependent on experience)
An automatic 5% annual increase to salary
Full time 40 hr/wk
