Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the finance team and contribute to their success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The
Accounts Receivable Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections and reconciliation processes.
Accounts Receivable Analyst Responsibilities: - Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices
- Work closely with sales and customer success teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Process customer payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies in customer accounts
- Prepare and distribute monthly accounts receivable reports to management
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Accounts Receivable Analyst Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the software industry is a plus
