Are you passionate about finance and looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that are crucial to maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your primary duties will include:

1. Conducting daily audits of general ledger coding to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2. Overseeing the expense reporting and analysis process to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
3. Training staff on accounts payable procedures and best practices to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
4. Developing and maintaining process documentation to support internal controls and audits.
5. Reviewing Accounts Payable aging report to manage outstanding invoices and payments.
6. Handling vendor reconciliation and troubleshooting to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
7. Preparing annual 1099 forms for all applicable vendors.
8. Overseeing the preparation of month-end accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
9. Conducting quarterly reviews of personnel and goal setting to drive team performance and development.
10. Undertaking projects and ad-hoc analysis as required to support decision-making.
11. Processing accounts payable and payments for the holding company, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
2. Demonstrated ability to supervise and train a team.
3. Strong knowledge of general ledger systems and procedures.
4. Proficiency in expense reporting and analysis.
5. Experience with vendor reconciliation and troubleshooting.
6. Familiarity with annual 1099 preparation.
7. Proficiency in month-end accrual preparation.
8. Experience in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
9. Strong project management and analytical skills.
10. Experience in accounts payable processing for a holding company.
