The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies.
- Review and approve payments, reconciliations, and expense reports.
- Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable processes and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze reports to support financial decision-making and reporting.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment methods, and vendor management.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
