CFS is partnered with a growing manufacturing firm headquartered in Europe to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist for their Wilmington, MA location.

- The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager, but will work frequently with the Controller and other members of the accounting team of 10
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Handling the Accounts Payable and Purchasing Cycle including:
- Sorting and matching documents to purchase orders and invoices
- Verifying pricing, validating approvals, and inputting vouchers
- Preparing weekly cash disbursements
- Managing intercompany accounts payable within the organization
- Assisting with month-end close
- Assisting with regular year-end audits and the operational audit every 2 years
- Communicating with vendors and internal staff
Background Expected of the Accounts Payable Specialist: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or experience equivalent
- 1+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (internships considered)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft AX is a plus, but experience in any major ERP is accepted
