Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role
- Processing and matching 300 + invoices and data entry and sending to appropriate departments for approval
- Balances and edits weekly batches
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Support month end close process
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role
- BA in accounting or strong experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAGE 100, and Fraction a plus
- Knowledge of accounts payable principles, procedures and standards
- Ability to work independently to manage tasks and ask questions when needed
