Responsibilities:

1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, 3-way match, and payment processing.
2. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
3. Maintaining vendor relationships through timely and accurate payment and responding to inquiries.
4. Assisting with month-end closing procedures, including A/R and G/L reconciliations.
5. Preparing and analyzing accounts payable reports and presenting findings to management.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
7. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in 3-way match, invoicing, A/R, and G/L.
3. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. An ability to manage a high volume of transactions and maintain accuracy.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
8. A Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
