About the role We are looking for an experienced accounting team member to join our extremely high growth, NASDAQ-listed company in the Bitcoin mining industry. This position will report directly to the AP Manager.
The responsibilities and authority of the position are consistent with those customarily assigned to an experienced AP Analyst team member of a public reporting entity including, but not limited to, processing and reviewing invoices for multiple subsidiaries, Form 1099 compliance, working closely with vendors and various internal departments, and identifying process improvement initiatives,.
Essential Functions- Understand capital versus expense accounting and appropriately apply the Company s capitalization policy, including working closely with various departments to ensure proper coding.
- Research and resolve invoice issues, working closely with vendors and various departments.
- Reconcile vendor statements, including researching and resolving discrepancies or other payment issues.
- Process employee expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Accurately and timely enter invoices in NetSuite, including coding and obtaining supporting documentation and approvals.
- Provide a weekly payment request based on A/P aging for approvals, ensuring vendors are paid timely.
- Partner with the Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping.
- Prepare Form 1099s.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing requirements.
- Perform various other duties as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- 3 years experience in accounts payable or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Experience in a company with multiple subsidiaries.
- Preferred systems experience: NetSuite or similar ERP system.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with accounts payable processes.
- Identify problems, establish facts, analyze and interpret data to draw valid conclusions.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP principles.
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet critical deadlines.
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills to support the needs of auditors, operations, management, and others.

The pay range for this role is:50,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Riot - Castle Rock)
