Job duties of the Accounts Payable Clerk
- Match POs with invoices
- Enter and code invoices into accounting software
- New vendor setup and existing vendor communication as needed
- Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm payment accuracy
- The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Accounting Manager
Qualifications preferred for the Accounts Payable Clerk
- Prior experience working in full cycle Accounts Payable
- Strong attention to detail and eye for accuracy
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry preferred
- Degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- The Accounts Payable Clerk should be familiar with debits and credits and GAAP
