Accounts Payable Clerk - Baltimore, MD

About the Company and Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity:

  • Our long time, repeat client is a non profit in Baltimore City, a staple in Baltimore city for over 100 years and have a strong reputation in the community
  • Due to an increase in work, they are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk to start immediately to work in their Baltimore office on a contract basis for the next 1-2 months
  • Position is 100% in office in Baltimore City
    • There is free street parking around the office in Baltimore City
    • Hours typically are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility
  • Reports directly to the Controller (who was placed by CFS.)
Job Duties of the Accounts Payable Clerk:
  • Process AP invoices and payment requests
  • Maintain distribution tables for vendor payments
  • Generate bi-monthly payments
  • Vendor management/set up
  • Distribute monthly credit card statements
  • Process cash receipts
  • Ad hoc duties as needed

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • 2+ years' AP experience
  • Basic Excel skills (basic formulas, formatting, data manipulation)
  • Must be okay working in a 100% paperless environment
  • Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an exemption
  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check
