Accounts Payable Clerk - Baltimore, MD
About the Company and Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity:
- Our long time, repeat client is a non profit in Baltimore City, a staple in Baltimore city for over 100 years and have a strong reputation in the community
- Due to an increase in work, they are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk to start immediately to work in their Baltimore office on a contract basis for the next 1-2 months
- Position is 100% in office in Baltimore City
- There is free street parking around the office in Baltimore City
- Hours typically are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility
- Reports directly to the Controller (who was placed by CFS.)
Job Duties of the Accounts Payable Clerk: - Process AP invoices and payment requests
- Maintain distribution tables for vendor payments
- Generate bi-monthly payments
- Vendor management/set up
- Distribute monthly credit card statements
- Process cash receipts
- Ad hoc duties as needed
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- 2+ years' AP experience
- Basic Excel skills (basic formulas, formatting, data manipulation)
- Must be okay working in a 100% paperless environment
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an exemption
- Must be able to pass a background and credit check
